Brexit impact on Kenya’s exports
Kenya Flowers Association (KFC) CEO Jane Ngige earlier said that Brexit is bound to lower flower sales as policies will change which may result in new bilateral negotiations to access the market.
The EU market was relatively stable but following the Brexit vote, it is likely that there will be disruptions of trade. With Kenya staring at a monthly loss of Sh4 billion if it does not sign the EU trade deal, this may further complicate the situation.
