VisionOne Access organized Seminar on AI- Powered Business Transformation
VisionOne Access organized a seminar on “AI-Powered Business Transformation” which was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Nairobi on 30th January 2025 bringing together industry experts, entrepreneurs, and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) leaders and students to explore the ways artificial intelligence is reshaping industries, improving efficiency, and enabling innovative business strategies.
The seminar commenced with a warm welcome from the event’s host, Henry Wanjala- Entrepreneur in the Arts. followed by a presentation by VisionOne Access on ERP system that streamlines business processes through automation, efficiency and data driven decision making, some of the integrated modules they have are Finance management, HR & Payroll, Inventory management, Property management and Horticulture and Floriculture that Supports large-scale farming operations.
Thereafter the keynote address delivered by Urvi Patel- Partner Risk Advisory at Deloitte East Africa, shared incredible insightful points about understanding AI better, how It is adopted and the future of the businesses, and how we can embrace it, and when embracing we must also as leaders empower our teams to embrace the change,
other key points she mentioned were ‘Humans will not be replaced by AI ,humans will be replaced by using humans using AI’ and with her closing remark ,
‘with AI as a force multiplier for imagination, the future belongs to those who ask better questions and have more exciting ideas to imply’
The Panel discussion was conducted by FCA Anaya Pal- Founder & CEO of Startup Shuja along with Panelists Aalok Yakhmi – Associate Director, ERP at KPMG Africa, Soumya Vadlamani – Data Analytics Manager at BDO East Africa and Billy Otieno Solutions Architect | Technology, Data & AI Transformation – Oracle,
shared insightful thoughts of the practical application of AI the importance of adaptability, AI & Business strategies, Integrating VisionOne Access ERP with AI, Decision Making and automation and the Future of AI in Business transformation and need for businesses to stay curious and stay open-minded as they navigate this transformation, with one of the key point ‘AI is not here to replace the human it’s here to help you focus and concentrate on creative and human centric tasks, Don’t let AI control you, control it and let it work for you.’
